Every year approximately 3.9 million dogs enter animal shelters nationwide. The primary reason being Animal Control picking them up off the street without identification or an owner turning their dog into a shelter because of an issue which can usually be resolved by training. Dogs n’ Lawns feels NO dog should be placed in a preventable life threatening situation. We’re here to help!

It is Dogs n’ Lawns mission to work relentlessly toward producing exceptionally safe environments for dogs as well as providing the necessary training and socialization, in an effort to reduce the number of dogs ending up in shelters in Hillsborough County. My philosophies in life are simple but true to what i believe and who i am.
I believe in treating everyone, including customers and employees alike, with the utmost respect, always. I am vulnerable to my passions, transparent, authentic and doing what I’m good at.
I began my adventure as a landscaper in 1989, while still a sophmore in high school. In 1999, I found myself incarcerated and my life changed forever. By using the education and using the programs offered i immediately earned a degree in the Professional Animal Care Specialist program in 2000. All while simultaneously participating in the Rescue Dog Obedience Training program, training shelter dogs from Capitol City Area Humane Society and the Franklin County ASPCA to increase their chance for adoption. Later in 2000, i began training puppies for Pilot Dogs Inc. in Columbus Ohio. By 2002 i started training rescue greyhounds retired form racing, from all over the country. I remained here as a trainer until 2004 accumulating over 12,414 hours of training dogs.
No matter what you do, everyone will have a different opinion about you but the most important thing is to be yourself, be you. I do it for the life experiences, the education and the story. When all is said and done, this is my passion and i am excited to be able to do it!
